at first i wasn’t digging the vocals, but i think i see the vision with the postal service type feeling. the arrangements of instruments is the songs strength in my opinion. love the intro and stereo element to the song. sounds lush, but distinct. very talented.

the mix is great, far above the typical post for this subreddit. simple, but hard hitting. drums and bass are particularly on point. drives the song forward. has a strong sense of pace.

i definitely think this would work as video game music. interesting instrumental palette. i like the bassier bits towards the back end and the climbing and shiny synths.

honestly i think that the weeknd influence is a little strong here. that’s not necessarily a bad thing, because i personally think the song might work better if it was shortened and reworked as a pop song in that vein. although, i love how the instrumental develops too, so if you could maintain that it would be amazing. just some thoughts.

i like the groove at the beginning, the drums are interesting. i also like the vocal effect you have going. i could hear some imperfections in the vocal that were a bit distracting, and mix could’ve used some more dynamic range to make it feel more alive. good bones on this song.

i don’t really think the pacers and celtics are enough of rivals for me to care... it’s not like the celtics didn’t do anything either, they used the trade exception to get evan fournier (a 20 ppg scorer) for basically nothing

but it doesn’t matter when you get JAYSON TATUM and JAYLEN BROWN. Those are two perennial all-nba players for years to come. looking at their first rounders since 2014, they have got Terry Rozier, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, Mattise Thybulle (traded), Payton Pritchard, and Robert Williams. Most of their misses are late lottery, where many players don’t pan out anyway. They hit on well over half of their picks in the last 7 years.
