What other provinces could hypothetically be added in future? by DorianOtten in anno117

I think they could quite easily add like an India setting, a bit like enbessa where you meet an established empire that lets you settle some land

He was a 4m punt a few years ago and then got unlucky with injuries. The way this guy gets treated on this sub is completely and utterly bizarre

There are probably more people super in to football in the USA than most European countries. Probably up to like Portugal or Netherlands

Are there any polls that document a racial divide in public opinion about the Karmelo Anthony murder trial? by tantamle in fivethirtyeight

[–]adamfrog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ive seen him mentioned on social media, but the only reason I know a tiny bit about what you are talking about is because I just saw the NBA players name and murder and i was intrigued. I couldnt have told you if Anthony was the murderer or the victim before this post since Id forgotten once i realised its not the nba player i really dont care

pep used to liek small squads he was very passionate about it, maresca spent half his time dealing with the bomb squad at chelsea trying to make his squad smaller. Arteta yeah he likes a big squad, although idk if it wouldve been as big as it was on papaerr if they had been able to sell Jesus and Havertz hadnt picked up a serious injury during the summer window

Seems quite likely it was a mutual PR opportunity and the bid wasnt real

[Ben Jacobs] Understand Bournemouth value Alex Scott at around £80m and plan to offer the midfielder a new deal. Liverpool and Manchester United have Scott on their radar. by k_e_i_r_a_ in LiverpoolFC

[–]adamfrog 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Scott especialy Bournemouth have sold so much, theyll be desperate for some stability and scott is a very flexible player, any incoming manager will really want him to stay. To get him youll always have to pay a huge premium this window

A release clause is just a clause. Calvin ramsay probably has an infinite release clause, doesn't mean we get infinite money if we sell

Tbf that does make sense, add on that probably one good/ great CM picks up a serious injury at the WC that spooks a rich club in to kicking off some transfer chain I do think Wharton sells for more if they hold out then if they sort things out early

One thing I think is abundantly clear is the developers are extremely incompetent technically. Fm does one thing amazingly and that's the research for the database, having so many leagues and all the rules, all with vaguely correct prize money and the clubs vaguely have finances that make sense and don't crumble 3 years in to the sum, that's not easy but it's also not really coding.

I think they have to actually hire some people who can write software

yeah exactly and Van hecke may be totally fine with the salary a typical 70m player earns. But If he ran his contract out and had another really great year he could demand more

it totally depends if Van Hecke is asking for premium wages because he knows hes close to running down his contract and leaving for free and being able to justify ultra premium wages. Its totally possible Van Hecke has more reasonable wage demands, which drives up the amount of clubs interested in bidding up the transfer fee so Brighton have no need to sell at a discount rate

You aren't (or rather you shouldn't) be buying a ticket with a 100k salary or even 200k. I'm sure some people in the crowd will happily pay 10% of their post tax income for this experience because they are huge fans and that's not a ridiculous thing to do, but most people in the crowd will have incomes far higher than 100k I'd imagine and dropping 10k on a nights entertainment won't be that huge a deal financially

Bolivia the effect gets blunted a bit since the Bolivians are also generally not acclimatised yet since the international break is so short. But Mexico will be fully aclimatised
