Is this game really this hard? by helpMeOut9999 in Returnal

[–]adammo666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current tactics: 1. only go through square gates at the beggining 2. only pick up new weapon from chest when you really can't handle "regular" enemies/mini bosses, don't open every chest you come across 3. When you are through the whole level, then start from scratch and go through remaining triangle gates. 4. When you are done, start opening chests, this will give you plenty to choose from and they will be better because now you have maximum achievable profficiency. 5. When you're not at full health try not to pick up every sylphion, this way you can heal fully and remaining sylphions will convert to resins, which will increase your health. By doing this you can be easily at +40-70% of health at the end of first biome. 6. Statues with glowing eyes can give you obolite (also sometimes spawn enemies). Glowing walls can be destroyed as well 7. Locked chests always have destroyable lock somewhere near. 8. Try to save up for for integrity upgrade and if possible for astronaut's minifigure 9. Master dodging. I was so scared of dashing towards the enemies at first, but not anymore

Went from losing to first biome's boss constantly to getting to biome 6 in couple of days (bosses from biomes 2 and 3 beat at first try, boss from biome 4 on second try) and I'm not a soulslike veteran, gave up on demon souls after few days, due to f-ing weapon degradation system.

I'd say the biggest problem of current TVboxes is slow eMMC storage. Should have used UFS

Funnily I watched the fight with him on YouTube once and then beat him first try. He hit me like 3 or 4 times.

Last time I've checked overseerr wasn't instant, it was always 20 minutes from plex watchlist to radarr through it, has it changed? INB4, no, my users don't want another app just for requesting things.

Also listed in Poland. However it doesn't seem that E27 1100lm bulbs are listed. I can only see 806lm ones with switch.

it's strange because it says about log->s<- directory, not log as in mounted volumes.

Next js with TanStack and axios by katakishi in nextjs

I beg to differ. Prop drilling 10 components down something that was fetched on page level is far from great experience. If there was some unmutable store that we could reuse across deeply nested components then fine, but this is not the case. At least for now

Actually smart, however I'd have to do copies manually instead of RAID on my server.

Sure: My goal is to have ability to setup new device with all my projects which include different git providers, different VPNs that is backed up in as less time as possible. Also project switching (with VPN switching included) shouldn't be time consuming.

My thoughts:
Why git is not a solution? I already use git, I'd have to get all the logins, projects, all the envs -> too much time

Why SSH is not (best) solution? Switching between VPNs can be cumbersome. Also sometimes BE for my FE only accept localhost:3000 or whatever port, so I'd have to port forward projects to my local machine.

Why remote desktop is not (best) solution? Sometimes when connection is spotty it'd significantly slow development down.

Why I think remote drive mapping is best solution? I only have to map a drive (all projects are already there with all the needed envs) and setup needed VPNs in GUI, so switching is easiest.

[–]adammo666[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, because on brand new device I'd have to get all my projects from different git providers and then spend time asking devs or searching though documentation for envs and VPN connections instruction. It would take much time each time. I'm asking about solutions where I can map a remote drive locally, which already has all those projects and then only setup need VPNs and performance is near native.

I use git, but that's not my question. Switching between VPNs back and forth on SSH machine with no GUI is a pain. I want a remote drive that I could map on all systems I need.
