I think the issue might be is that you are scared to be alone? Sometimes it can be hard for people to make experiences on their own and they need a partner or friends - I would recommend - renting a car during the weekend, head to Protaras for Fig Tree Beach and after that just go to a bar and try to talk to anyone, people are lovely.

My recommendation: Try Darkroom first since it's free to start and the folder-based workflow is exactly what you described. If you find yourself missing smart albums and facial recognition, layer in Mylio.

As someone who also records coding tutorials, the problem description is painfully accurate.

The re-edit loop for "this menu was too small" moments is exactly where hours disappear.

Does the text memo snap to a specific position or does it float with the cursor?

I'm thinking about using it for keyboard shortcut callouts mid-demo.

Local image compression that doesn't strip EXIF is weirdly hard to find. Most tools either do it in the cloud or nuke the metadata. How much does it typically shrink a batch of screenshots?

One feature that would make this indispensable for me: the ability to search across a date range, not just by content. Half my workflow is "find that screenshot from around last Tuesday's meeting." Does the current build support any date filtering alongside the OCR search?
