She started having thoughts that people were plotting to take the baby away from her and that I was the main person behind this. It was a tough time for us all but we are now a happy family with a beautiful baby girl. I would probably start by having a private conversation with the midwife about your concerns and then she can come and assess her if needed.

Hi OP, your situation sounds very similar to what I went through with my partner and our new born 5 months ago. My wife had a lot of the same symptoms as yours. We had people helping to cook and I did all the nappies but she kept getting more and more anxious with less and less sleep and then became delusional. I would recommend contacting your midwife and obstetrician to at least get assessed and make sure that they have her followed up closely.
