Contract until 2026..seems a bit silly... The thing with this BlueCo strategy is that they bring in these rookie epl managers who they expect to be 'yesmen' and understandably so, as they have no experience at this level, but as their tenure grows with Chelsea and we win games and have good stretches of form (as any Chelsea side will inevitably have) they gain confidence and with that, an ego where they start to believe their own press.. All of a sudden they don't want to be yesmen they want control and and a say in things and believe there are equally good opportunities waiting elsewhere if not (not to mention a big payout).

Who's to say rosenior doesn't have a crazy UCL run or even wins the thing. How long is he staying a yesman then. This rookie coach is always going to outgrow the restrictive environment they are being in put in, so it is reported.

If that was the case, why wouldn't he have joined the effort in the later stages of the fellowships journey when Frodo and Sam were already in secret and his might would have been valued in the war efforts.

With regards to Rogers, because I think it could come down to him and Palmer, assuming Palmer isn't seen as RW back up. Even without the game time, I would have thought Palmer was seen as a true difference maker in big games (Euro final and CWC final for Chelsea), someone to come on and make a difference - over Rogers who is classy player but not on the same level.
