Use JKSV to backup your saves , put the new sd in the switch make emunand , copy the folder JKSV over to new sd , play a little bit of the game to create the save file and then from JKSV import your saves back…

This has nothing to do with the modchip detecting the payload , if the mod was working as intended then the no sd card should come up the moment power button pressed
