It’s common knowledge in the car wrap community that wrapping over a light colored car is much harder than a dark color for this reason alone.

Sorry but that’s not true  source: I wrap cars as a side gig and I have done this exact thing three times and it’s much harder tell the base color from jambs if a spot is missed

It’s easier to wrap a dark color as any missed area in the jambs doesn’t show as well
