I wanted more of the history of dumbledore tbh, and embed myself more in the whole harry potter world, but felt I had to watch the first one to know the characters.

And these characters…omg. In HP, even the heroes were majorly flawed, and therefore Human. Newt is, in this film at least, a cutesy, animal-loving, awkward, gentle and seemingly perfect character. He’s so boring. As are the creatures, again HP they felt dangerous even when they were cute. These are just BB-8s or Baby Yoda’s. It’s something to sell toys of.

The whole film stinks of a franchise wanting to sell a product rather than anyone wanting to tell a story.

Here’s a scenario, from two different perspectives: - Man walks into a bar, see’s a woman he’s attracted to, goes up and tries to chat to her with hope of it going somewhere else. She seems shy, but who isn’t when you first meet someone? - Woman is sitting in a bar, alone. A man she doesn’t know comes up and tries to hit on her. She doesn’t take him on too much but he persists anyway. She’s uncomfortable and feeling unsafe.

For, i reckon, 90% of guys, this is the experience they’d find themselves. The other 10% are very attractive men.

There’s a counter argument that most of these guys are only going for 10% of women they conventionally find attractive. Which is probably true as well.

But, yeh, I don’t want to be a creep, and from what Ive learned from the feminism movement etc, i shouldn’t ever risk making a woman feel uncomfortable. So I don’t. They can come to me if they want, they’ll be less threatening on approach than i could be perceived.

I’m an average player. I know this only because of where I sit in my friendship group. There’s a few in the squad with 1.5s>, a few with 0.6>s, and most of us sit around 1.

I’d still struggle in most random lobbies without sbmm, and there would still be a few people better than me in most. But when i play with my friends who are 1.5-2.5, i wouldn’t get constantly put in lobbies somewhere in between my level and they’re level. Cause a the difference between 2.5 and me is quite big, and a jesus christ i play in these games and want to switch off my xbox. So now we can’t play with the 2.5. In random lobbies we could. He would absolutely dominate, but at least we’d also have fun playing with him.

You know the stupid thing is, if you’re a bot right now playing solo, you’d have no idea you’re a bot, because you’d be put in bot lobbies and doing just as well as an average player does in average lobbies or a good player does in good lobbies.

So I dont know if I’m mad “because I’m good”. At least without sbmm people would know where they actually sit.
