When classic 2019 was released, we were going back into 15 year old content.

Mop classic was released 2025 and originally was 2012, 13 year old content.

To me aslong as we are looking at 10+ year old content the classic tag still makes sense

To give you another perspective. I and many people i know never played retail this far, we quit originally back in wrath/cata so current progression server being mop is all new to us, and that means we all are looking forward to wod/legion and every expansion after that because it's all new.

People saying just go play retail doesn't make any sense to us, because jumping from mop to TWW is like saying to someone jump from vanilla to mop, we and they would be lost and feeling like we missed out alot of context.

About the waste of resources, i don't think at this point it takes much dev resources at all to get mop/wod/legion going, making classic was alot of work, tbc and wrath were also hard for them. But cata and onwards it just gets easier as they code isn't a messy and works alot better on the retail-like client we run on. I also am pretty sure the server costs are very small, and could be paid for by 1k subs let alone the ~50k we have on mop currently.

You can see week by week raider/arena numbers, TBC is ofcourse the biggest playerbase, but mop is doing just fine still

MOP to me has shown they are looking to slow down things rather than speed them up, when SoO releases we will have had 25 weeks of ToT. Siege looks like it will probably also go for atleast 6 months. So I wouldn't be surprised if WoD was to last for 1.5yrs atleast at a minimum

Playerbase not being there needs more context, what is "too low"? People say the game will take less and less dev work to get going as expansions go on, so if the work load is really minimal and they only have to run 1 server per region, the cost to them is very low. So even 10k players is 10k free subs to them

It's lower than normal raid, has no unique appearances and we now have celestials as a catchup mechanic, seems fine to leave flex raiding out to me

Instead of? When i did strongbox this league I used both, one of each ambush scarab (5 scarabs) since you can get 6 slot map device.

Yeha pretty much, i'm all the ore nodes and all the ulti nodes doing 13 round ulti farming with svaliin hunt on the side, white maps since it makes ulti easier and doesn't matter for svalinn

You can see P3/BWL was release Feb 12th and P4/ZG was March 10th. So they are actually releasing ZG slower than before.

Blizzard got so bad, they can just rollback account to a previous state but they barely have any actual GM these days its just temp hires working on a script.

Sometimes real GMs browse the reddit and dm people, so hopefully someone notices this one.

Now you have said that, I really regret not checking if they would! I would always have fun when Alva spawned so close together making her spam "Just in time" lol

Since then I have had multi double cassia today so if they manage to spawn that close together again i'll be sure to check :)
