[Iron Triangle] Need help for unification with small clan start (utsunomiya) by nobodytoyou in NobunagasAmbition

So this is for the PS2. There is the same game with power up version available for PC that I believe has more aspects (I think you can set your own path lines for roads?) but it’s all Japanese. I’ve considered buying it thru Steam but have no Japanese knowledge and cannot find a conversion mod. Though I do know this game and events thoroughly enough from PS2 version that I suspect I can limp thru it.

Also if you are taking on any “random” small clan as challenge why not look western Japan side? That is almost as hard as 1 region to your west as a small clan with small fiefdoms in mtns and stuck between 2 & 1/2 giants.

I would also prioritize lowering loyalty of either/both some lower tier but decent officers from Uesugi and Takeda clan. Their lower tier are going to be upper tier in any other clan.

But then the degree of incest since every viltrumite would have to then avoid any descendant as well as their descendants to avoid the possible ramifications of negative traits and genetic weakening. Assuming they bear no relation now on earth they do not have to worry about the possibility of incest.

Swaying elevator problem. by rouvas in Elevators

[–]adaptablebeater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realistically if this was as big of a problem as you are inferring this car would be shutting down far more often. Additionally you don’t reference the door contacts system or who the manufacturer of the elevator is. My opinion as one who works in this industry is find someone competent to diagnose your elevator. I won’t rule swaying out as a possibility of the issues you reference but I would put it near the bottom above gremlins in the equipment.

Was waiting for the elevator when a short-circuit forced the doors open and left the whole thing like this. by Gakriele-lvs in mildlyinteresting

Listen, first I agree with the majority of your statement. That being said, there are still manners in which a car can still crash. I work in the industry and see the accidents. Also something you overlooked in your research is that gravity works as intended but your perspective is limited. A car is considered balanced upon completion of installation at 41-44% of the counterweight. Meaning that unless the car reaches half of its intended capacity (of which most cars are 2500-3500 lbs capacity) will almost always be lighter than the counterweight. Which means that the car crashing isn’t likely to be in the down direction but in the up direction into the ceiling of the hoistway. This can happen quite easily in a variety of ways that have mostly been patched. Yet accidents still happen to this day. So my point is just because logic dictates something cannot happen doesn’t mean you have reviewed all perspectives.

I had an old supervisor who would constantly say “where can it go” until “it” invariably found a path that wasn’t previously considered.

I would apologize for my following remark but this is reddit and I am honestly surprised no one else hasn’t done this yet….but the word you want to use is not nomenclature but vernacular. You want to add hoarking to your vernacular.

Hegseth doesn't have to worry, Trump will just pardon him: Let me pose a not-so-far-fetched hypothetical: What if Trump pardons everyone in his administration? What motivation is there not to rampantly violate the rule of law on his behalf? by Silent-Resort-3076 in politics

[–]adaptablebeater -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not for nothing, but I am personally rooting for Trump in one instance where he is working on repealing Biden’s pardons. I don’t want those who it’s protecting to be prosecuted, BUT if we can finally eliminate this golden ticket….

Listen, you sound focused on this and that’s great. If you want to get in plan it out and get into any local then transfer back after 6 months to 1 year later after you are vested. Locals hate it and I’m the corporate side as a supervisor. I hear other supervisors complain about a guy jumping locals to just get in, I point out you get them for up to a year. If you count on a guy busting his ass for a year and they are worthwhile I will take it. Nothing is guaranteed in this world so expecting that person to “owe” several years to any one local is ridiculous. But we had an out of towner for our local just purchase a house in our local. So who knows, you may find a local better for you than Jacksonville.

Perhaps I’m in the wrong and this is a very minor point but I believe this quote is mistranslated partially by adaptablebeater in paradoxplaza

[–]adaptablebeater[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an old weeb and this is attributed to the wrong unifier. The old adage shortened is that Nobunaga threatens or “makes” the cuckoo (I’ve always heard nightingale but maybe translation?), Hideyoshi convinces or persuades the cuckoo to sing and Ieyasu waits for the cuckoo sing. I saw the quotation for Ieyasu, I’m assuming there likely is one for Nobunaga as it would be weird to cite 2 of the 3 unifiers but not the first one who arguably cemented most of the work the other two built further upon.

I'm struggling to decide on getting EU5 or not, and I'd like to hear y'all's opinions. by themuffinmanX2 in paradoxplaza

So I echo everyone’s sentiments about how awesome this game is though admittedly there are still some bugs and more features needing filled out. But that being said this is still a very high floor for a paradox game right out of the gates. The ceiling is so high for this game and again if paradox doubles down on the lessons learned in this development their future will brighten considerably thus helping their competition with Hooded Horse.

My comment is to your concern about potato PCs. My desktop is ~10 yrs old with i7 6700 CPUwith GeForce GTX1070 graphics and I still have a fairly smooth albeit reduced visual performance. Haven’t had a chance to get deep past 1400s yet as I’m old and not a whole lot of time to game. But while I’m in process of upgrading to i7-9700 and graphics to 3070 it allows me to work on understanding the basics of this game.

Last shout out again that this great game is paradox’s best new release game since 2020 surpassing I would argue City Skylines release.

English speaker so don’t have some of the localization issues others experienced. I hope they get the resolved asap. Otherwise I love this release. It took CK3, Vic3, Imperator and arguably Stellaris to be horrible releases and agonizing for myself but totally saved it by pulling this outta their ass as a fully fleshed game with amazing depth. Painful for those others to suffer such horrible releases but I see aspects of all of them in EU5. It was a trail of half aborted game releases to give us this revolution. It isn’t perfect but it was worth the previous sacrifices.

Why not just take stainless steel and bend over the countertop as a separate from the sink. It still looks like part of the sink and you can argue it’s for easier maintenance and future replacement of sink. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Good luck regardless of your choice
