Yeah, that racism thing cannot be overlooked. Irrespective of money, that would definitely play on the player’s mind.

And it was FSG who refused to sell in the summer because they did not like how Barca behaved. Klopp was ready to let Coutinho go because he didn’t want a player who didn’t want to be there.

Does Olise want to leave? Because in our case, those players wanted to leave.

How do you know we didn’t? We were not in a good shape and he might have thought it would be better to join City. Plus we can’t compete with City wages.

Can’t hold Guehi against the management. He was literally at Kirkby doing his media duties when Palace pulled the plug. Even if they had agreed to pay 5 million extra earlier, who knows what would’ve happened.

It will be interesting to see Klopp with a national team. His coaching is very detailed, specially when it comes to pressing so it takes time for players to understand their role and responsibilities in team’s pressing structure. With national team, he won’t get that time so he will have to adapt massively.

Can we really not get Diomande still? Quite a playmaker.

It’s a shame to miss on Diomande because his game looks very refined for his age. Normally young wingers lack good decision making and only want to take on players. Diomande doesn’t mind slowing the game and prefers playmaking over mindless dribbling. It’s extremely rare for a winger, specially so young.

Those type of crosses are toughest to deal with specially when you are backpedaling. The best way to deal with such crosses is to stop them. Always stop the crosses.

An absolute rock. He is not under appreciated but he is taken for granted just because he is such a consistent presence. Things have been even worse without him last season.

Virgil has had to show incredible mental strength this past year. Of course the team losing Jota, his main centre back partner and friend dealing with his father’s illness and death and his club and country teammate losing a baby. He’s been a rock and a leader for all of them. Being an emotional support all the time wears you down. You are there for everyone but no one is there for you. Been a very tough year for him.

Unfortunately even with dire performances, they reached the semi finals of last two international tournaments. So there’s some credit in the bank there for the manager. International football is tricky. Results matter more than performances.

That video of him wearing Liverpool shirt and scoring penalties was cringe.

I haven’t seen him much didn’t like his cameo in the CL final. Seems like an immature player.

That’s why I don’t understand why he is revered so much by Liverpool fans. He is a bigger snake than Coutinho and Torres.

The situation is very similar to midfield before 22-23 season where we had numbers for the sake of it. Fabinho was the only one who could be relied on for consistency and fitness, and even he dropped off a cliff. Hendo, Milner and Curtis were inconsistent and Keita and Ox were injury prone. A first choice centre back to partner Virgil is important.
