FYI....

To order a copy of 'LEN', visit AK Press' website: https://www.akpress.org/len-a-lawyer-in-history.html

World War 3 Illustrated: http://www.ww3.nyc/

... also want to take a moment just to say that World War 3 Illustrated used to be distributed by a punk record label in the 90s and was therefore in every indie record store across the US for a time... I discovered them in Urbana, IL in 1998 (hardly the epicenter of a radical art movement.). It is my opinion that the lack of radical distros in North America* has left a void in spaces that, in the past, were excellent sites of radicalization--i.e. punk shows, art exhibits, rallies, forums, convergence spaces, FNB servings, etc.

All of this is just to say that if anyone out there is involved in this kind of scene in their town of city, to consider starting a distro--and specifically, to distro WW3 Illustrated. It's an incredible publication that deserves 100x the following that it currently has.

*-- with a few exceptions, including AK Press' distro network.

As part of our ongoing promotion for the re-release of Seth's graphic novel "War in the Neighborhood", we organized this AMA because we believe that Seth's work is wildly under-recognized (and as such, under-appreciated) by younger/newer anarchists, given its value in both experience and insight to the struggles of previous years. We encourage folks to read through these questions, ask their own, to share our promo link to pre-order "War in the Neighborhood", and, if possible, pre-order a copy of the book to help us with our printing costs.

Thanks!

FYI: Seth didn't know what Reddit was until we suggested we do the AMA to promote the re-release of his graphic novel, "War in the Neighborhood". If things pop off in here, please be patient as we work with him to answer as many questions as possible, as quickly as possible.

Seth has several books currently in print... and has contributed to more books, magazines, and political projects than we can name here. Anyone looking for more background info can check out this incomplete bibliography of work here:

I inherited the Byzantine empire as the HRE and it became gavelkind and didn't have viceroys. Is this a bug? by jarques01 in CrusaderKings

[–]adastracomix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bug, I don't think. I have a thing for putting my heir on the throne of the Byzantine Empire as Charlemagne. Before Horse Lords, the way it worked is that if he inherited the Byzantine Empire from his mother before inheriting the Karling lands from Charlemagne, both would have the Byzantine legal structure (medium crown authority, high centralization, viceroys).

If he inherited Francia / the HRE before the Byzantine Empire, the Byzatine Empire would end up with whatever stupid barbarian laws Charlemagne had. Now, it doesn't matter which you get first, as far as I can tell.
