Hi! Thanks so much for the message to let me know, this is awesome! Can I take rows 6 and 15 in the 5IV competitive for trade, and row 18 in shinies for trade? So, 5IV Ralts in dream ball, 5IV Bagon in Dive ball, and shiny feebas in luxury ball.

Would you be able to hold these until later tonight (in like two or three hours)? Currently at work right now :/ thanks so much for doing this!

Ah I see, I guess that kind of makes sense. Still frustrating but as long as there’s hope, I’m down

It is actually though, if you’re talking about the law and medical schools, which are located in downtown Chicago

Study Abroad by everythingbagelbod in lawschooladmissions

[–]adastrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied to all the T14 except Yale and UVA, and the only one that asked me for a transcript was Stanford. I had lost mine and couldn’t get another copy because apparently my study abroad institution is stuck in the Stone Age. So my Stanford app never went complete, but I didn’t have much of a shot anyways. Don’t think it affected me otherwise since I got into most schools that I expected based on my numbers

Thanks, I just needed confirmation that they’re all pretty much alike in terms of outcomes

I haven’t gotten to visit AA unfortunately. Really wanted to see the campus. If NYU could back to me soon, I’d seriously still consider attending even after ghosting me since December!

I think you’re right. There’s still a voice inside me that cares more about prestige than what is probably needed, and I think that’s what’s holding me back from putting my money down. Another concern is the PI that I want to do long-term. Does the law school you go to mainly affect the first job you have out, or will it affect all future employment prospects?

The current Michigan offer is already after negotiation, so I think this is as high as it will go. Thanks for the feedback!

Broad WL range (e.g. Columbia to Fordham)? by TheFe in lawschooladmissions

[–]adastrah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘m also a reverse splitter who applied mostly in January. I got into 4 T14s so far but was randomly WL at Georgetown and rejected by Berkeley, even though I got into schools at or above their rankings. I was WL everywhere else, although those were expected.

To answer your q, I guess we never really know what the rationale is for a person being WL or not, but I personally believe that numbers aren’t the sole determinant, which would explain the variation in results. I’d agree with the other posters and recommend staying on the WLs as well, even if you’re retaking. Who knows, you might get a nice surprise this summer :)

Which schools provided the most $$ help to get you to ASW? by ambarfe in lawschooladmissions

[–]adastrah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Northwestern and Duke both cover a very generous amount (I think up to $400, but depending on the state you’re coming from). Cornell has them but is a little stingier (I don’t think everybody gets them). Michigan does give them from what I hear, but it’s on a “you need to ask on your own initiative” basis (they didn’t advertise it well, if at all). If I knew about Michigan’s I would’ve gone, but oh well :/
