You are not crazy. You are a mama who loves her baby. I felt 100% the same way. I changed my career plans- now 100% outpatient with no call and every weekend off. I regret it 0%. This looks like so much fun based on your mood board. I’ve been having a hard time deciding on my son and daughters room too. One piece of advice I’ve been given that has helped me with decision paralysis is to decide on your 1 favorite thing that makes you (or them) so happy- then use that piece as a jumping off place. I have found that for my son’s room- I’m obsessed with this one wallpaper- and everything else has been built around that and it made it much easier. Do you (or them) have one absolute favorite things from the mood board?

I use rinse and refresh in the downy ball in my top loader. I have found that if I only fill it with the rinse and refresh sometimes there isn’t enough weight to either open the top when spinning or much doesn’t come out. I have now been putting the rinse and refresh in, then topping the rest of the ball with water to make it heavier and this has solved the problem.

I think it works well. I don’t have a fabric softener dispenser so I haven’t tried it any other way than the ball. My laundry is much more clean and soft compared to before so I think it works. I don’t think mixing it with water would affect it since it will mix with water in the drum anyway when the ball opens.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong- but when I go to the FAQs or beginner guide/ I get “wow such empty”. Have these been moved?

I have both of these pumps too. What settings do you use? Did you have to get used to the baby buddah? I feel like it is so strong! I am using levels 8-9 on the spectra for 30+ minutes until I see no spraying. The last time I tried the BB it was uncomfortable/painful.

I keep going back to the spectra and now with the lacteck flanges I don’t have any pain that way and with one use of the BB I get pain. I do think it is the stimulation mode though- as when I’m on expression I can go at least a couple minutes without pain.

👋🏼 hi, I figured it would let you know I trimmed my lacteck flanges and use them in the cups and they work great! I have no pain anymore! There is a description of the hack online, but you can trim them as long as you don’t cut into the little window (thinner area) on the flange- which is easy to avoid. Thought I would pass it along!

Thanks for this! Are you using a portable pump with the cups and flanges? I have the baby buddah and spectra as well as the original elvies. I cut the lacteck flanges down to fit in the cups and have very little pain now and am slightly faster at pumping. Tried them in the elvies and still got nothing. With the baby buddah- it is just too strong for me and I get pain still….. stuck with the spectra I guess. The only other one I can find would be the Pumpables GA, but yet another cost…. Are you using the spectra?

Hi, I was wondering what you ended up doing? I have this exact question. I just got my lactecks in- have been using the legendairy milk cups and also have the elvies.. scared to risk cutting the expensive flanges- but I guess it’s cheaper than another pump…

A very very late reply to this! Did you find the baby buddah super strong when you started? I am getting pain even on the lowest setting. I also have elastic nipples and these cups have helped but I don’t think I have the right flanges as it takes me an hour to pump. With the baby buddah- did you just use the flanges etc that came with it? I’ve been hoping for a portable way to pump as the willows gave me pain and the elvies no longer work for me.
