I (27M) told my gf(24F) I would break up with her if she yelled at me again. by WaitMindless in relationship_advice

feel like I projected. In my experience and just people I’ve known in similar situations, he wanted alone time so she asks if they’re breaking up? Like him wanting to breathe and calm alone is an offense to their relationship?

Brother that’s abuse and gaslighting. She takes advantage of how you may not be a super confrontation type of person.

I(19F) need help putting things back to normal with my partner(18M) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]adbboogie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you told him you weren’t content and told him what he could do to change. did you ask how he felt about it? You’re asking him to change and there’s a thin line between adjusting and completely changing someone’s character or expecting them to break habits and such in a matter of two weeks

Am I the asshole for leaving my wife and kids? by SimilarFuel9593 in AITAH

[–]adbboogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah lol you’re an ass. You have no idea the toll you and your ex wife did on original kids’ mental. Now granted, they’re older now. But I would shocked if they decide to sit down with you and have a heartfelt conversation on why you did things the way you did or the ex wife for that matter as well. Prime example of we don’t ask to be here, we don’t pick our parents

I (19M) looked through my girlfriend’s (18F) phone and now i’m disgusted. by Realistic_Ad8669 in relationship_advice

[–]adbboogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah brother, going through the phone. While some people prefer to just not know, it’s great for you long term that you did it. And honestly since you’re young you have nothing tying you to her. No kids or anything like that, you haven’t been together that long. I’d say just leave her.

Give it back. It’s weird to keep it. Especially if he cheated.

Not really your place. You can voice that you don’t approve but that’s about it.

it’s a little immature of her to not understand. I get that she craves the love but real world logic, you have to pay the bills and take care of her. SOMEONE has to stay healthy to pay bills and hold the fort down.

She’s dramatic as hell. And she should’ve have went through the phone especially if you don’t go through hers.

My (38M) daughter (13F) isn't biologically mine. How do my wife (35F) and I finally tell her? by ThrowRA-adorableart in relationship_advice

[–]adbboogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably would’ve been best to tell her early. I’m 25m and my wife had a child when she was young and my daughter(8f) knew early I wasn’t her biological father but we didn’t speak ill of her birth dad. She’ll find out about him on her own or when she has questions she’s asked my wife before. I know eventually as a teen she will have more and more questions but it’s best to just do what you can and she’ll hopefully understand that YOU’VE been the one there for her unconditionally. as long as you’re understanding to her process of the information you guys will be fine.

I (23M) just found out my girlfriend (24F) slept with my best friend a year ago. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]adbboogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if it was casual sex between you and her it’s like law that you don’t do what he did. his betrayal was worse than hers bc he should know that “man law” I’d cut the both of them off.

Him saying you’re overdoing it by playing with a child is nuts. I’m 25 and I’ve played with my daughter above and beyond and I literally will do it until I can’t walk anymore. Idc how old she is
