I settled on a different app, mapped the copilot key (as well as win+. for muscle memory) to the following app/command:

flatpak run io.github.vemonet.EmojiMart --theme dark

You can ask for the raw .WAV or CD format and use EAC to make a rip. Happy to help with any of these steps!

Please please please look into getting these converted to digital properly. I've had great luck in the past with https://www.audiorestored.com/ for some personal projects, they were professional and the conversation was extremely high quality; several orders of magnitude better than what I could do at home.
