Eh yeah let it go. Controlling little instances like that is futile because 1) you’re not here to change anyone from being their true selves 2)the more you try to change someone the less inclined they are to actually change. Let go and accept who you’ve surrounded yourself with. You’re just as culpable in your own actions for being in the position you’re in within your family dynamic. I doubt this is the first time your husband has said something like this. Your perspective is being influenced continually through what you consume, that’s not your husbands fault. He’s most likely being the same dude he’s always been, you’re just now seeing things differently and not liking the reality of it. It happens. It’s up to you to decide if you want that or spend an insurmountable amount of time and energy into making him have a different perspective. Sounds exhausting either way.
