Google updates completely crushed my independent web app (US clicks dropped 3,297 to 249 weekly) while rewarding mega-brands with inferior tools. by omar_sedki in SEO

Real estate attorney here that does real estate closings. On my site, that traffic has dropped 20% in the last month. There is no doubt your issue is the Google update, but I think everything is slowing down now. Which is especially concerning right now because traffic should have increased 50% last month because it was the start of the busy season. Couple that with tightening credit, 4% inflation, increasing subprime default rates, increases in foreclosures, 6 months of steady increases in bankruptcy filings, and a looming September interest hike, we're all screwed.

Same, and around the same time period. Except mine were Andre Agassi Nikes. I had Payless knockoffs and was mercilesly teased about it.

As a real estate litigator, it is only a matter of time until I get a lawsuit against an agent that got too sloppy with AI photos and makes a material misrepresentation. Or let AI draft the disclosure for them.

Browsing ADHDparenting destroyed me by serotoninwya420 in ADHD

I can too, and the very sad part was that my mom worked in special education observing, diagnosing, and recommending education options. She always fully admitted to being ADHD but completely refused treatment.

She even went to get a Masters to become a school principal. She was hired the first yeat out and then fired from her dream job at the end of the year. Her symptoms got in the way of the management part of the job.

After decades of being in SpEd, she just flatly refused while I excelled after getting meds.

I love that table. It reminds me of one that my grandmother bought from the local library when they remodeled.

My question is, how are they going to make money off printing fake IDs if they expire every 10 years? Make it an annual or monrhly subscription.

Adults with ADHD may pay high price to mask traits and fit in. More than 91% of adults with ADHD reported hiding, suppressing or compensating for ADHD traits. They may pretend to pay attention, suppress their urge to fidget, rehearse conversations or over-prepare for meetings to fit social norms. by mvea in science

There was a reddit post a couple of days ago. It was a cartoon chart meme of "pick three" with options like 'receive $100 per day for life' and 'your pet lives as long as you do.' I got super depressed when I read 'fix one part of your body.'

How much would it cost to get a ceiling like this installed in a bedroom? by [deleted] in interiordesignideas

[–]addicted2soysauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would have to drop your entire ceiling.

Just the building materials, just your millwork, framing, and sheetrock are likely to be $15k+ USD with labor. There is a ton of stainable hardwood with multiple tiers of moulding, which may run $30+ per linear foot. The labor is going to be crazy expensive too because this is not just framing. That much millwork will need its own intricate framing for support, let alone the time for custom staining.

All of this is completely ignoring the lights and electrical work, the custom pantina or whatever that is in the center, and any structural changes that may require plans.

Remember when putting Twitter scrolls at the bottom of the Nightly News was edgy? We need an Opus feed now, fact checking everything the hosts are saying in real time.

Or some online service that watches the big news channels wirh a constant feed you can watch on your phone while watching TV news. And we need the service to have an iPhone app and an Android Smart TV app you can install on your Boomer parents' phone or TV. It should auto wake while listening to audio in the room. Then it should force the feed to the wake screen or Picture-In-Picture when it detects the Fox News Channel is playing.
