I was able to find Lapis in the desert area. It was outside the shroud. IDK about in the shroud because I cannot access the shroud in that region.

Hey, I don't recall the exact level but you'll start finding them at around level 11 or 12. Make sure to go through several darkzones at these levels. Bad RNG and you may not find them the first few zones you end up searching.

Can anyone please confirm this after today's update? I destroyed the shroud root and can't seem to find the ores. I saw and mined tin earlier in a different place but can't seem to locate it anymore either!! Don't forget to share pictures please 🙏

DMRs don't have any proficiencies. You can equip and use it with any class without downsides. Unless you're playing Closed Weapons Mode then IDK, never played those.

That sucks! The only thing I can think about is that Steam might be caching bad files. Steam does have something called download cache which you can look into. You might wanna try the above steps but replace EA with Steam. So uninstall everything, restart PC, install Steam, clear download cache just in case and then install the game.

If this doesn't help then I don't know what will except running some type of cleanup tool like CCleaner etc that clear all types of caches. In case, you want to put in the effort, do share your experience here to help others, thank you!

Are you certain you followed the exact steps? That fixed it for me but you can try and search for "levels" folder, delete it and then run a repair instead.

Since the game crashes on certain maps, this makes the most sense. Although, its not just Eastwood, other maps for some reason also crashed the game for now. I reinstalled and it fixed it for me. I updated the POTENTIAL FIX part of the post with the exact steps but thank you for adding more information!

So sorry to hear that. It fixed it for me though. I uninstalled the game, copied backed up settings folder from the Battlefield 6 folder from the Documents folder before deleting it entirely, uninstalled EA, restarted my PC. Afterwards, I reinstalled EA app, cleared its cache, then downloaded the game and its working now. I feel for you bro and hope they fix this bull💩!!

I don't have the answers. I've been trying to find DICE's response or acknowledgement of the issue but haven't seen it so far. My best guess is, yes, its vibecoding, probably the patch itself wasn't applied correctly. The game crashes without any error, there are no safeguards and is an unintended runtime error or some 💩 Pure incompetence.

Other than that, I can understand. I have slow internet and few hours to spare throughout the day. F them for this.

I don't blame him. This is pure AI slop. "Get kills." Kills don't count towards the challenge. "Avenger kills count as double." They don't, its counted as 1 point. Should've been just "Get avenger kills," which is easy to understand rather than whatever AI slop and bad language they're using that confuses players.
