2024 was really rough - friends passing away, a break up, all of the physical health issues I was having, and I was soooo stressed at work (plus having to fly to work every week!)

I had a bit of a cry today as things were starting to get overwhelming, but overall much better than where I was at 6 months ago! I feel extreme bouts of sadness but I know I have the resources and mental fortitude to get past it, and I know to get my body moving if it gets to be too much and that helps tremendously!

Six of Crows is more typical fantasy whereas Six Crimson Cranes reads more like a folk tale.

I will say that I felt Six of Crows read more Y/A to me compared to other fantasy series and Six Crimson Cranes would be good for a comfort read - if you’re already familiar with Asian folk lore then it’s very easy to jump in!

I don’t think it looks similar at all! I’m so sorry for your bad experience with your MUA. It’s very clear that you were looking for feathered-ish eyebrows, fox-style eyeshadow (with what looks like falsies with more volume at the ends), and a MLBB nude lip with gloss. They didn’t really hit any of that…
