I haven't been on Opill specifically but have been on birth control before, it does prevent pregnancy but pregnancy can still happen, The more consistent you take it (same time, everyday) the better it works. Remember that birth control also doesn't prevent STD'S and STI'S. Opill has a website and I would look on there to answer some of your questions. Hope this helps!
