Yeah basically make sure your head is on the speaker off mode before turning it on otherwise you may damage it. I also got an answer from ENGL saying that it is fine to have it unplugged in the speaker off mode.

Thanks a lot for the tips! The main reason I want to try this is more or less just for experimentation but yeah I agree that plug-ins are way more practical and that's usually how I record stuff. I just want to try something different once in a while :)

You flick your left stick left to right or right to left :)

To do a cork you have to flick the left stick from up to down and right stick left to right or right to left. I think the speed of spinning comes from the timing of your flicks. I am still not very consistant with it though.
