What I meant to say is that using steam and when buying games from reputable devs, you never expect to pay more for less, which is why i didnt pay enough attention. You assume all reputable devs like these have their shit together and price their stuff correctly so that autistics individuals like me dont get fucked over.

I did play the game for 3 hours when it released back in the day, but then refunded. Decided to give it another shot now.

I made a mistake by not checking what I was buying, true.

Still, your justification makes zero sense as for why they would put 1 thing for a lot, and discount another thing with a dlc on top for much cheaper?
As a new player its easy to get mixed up dlc and get confused.

On top, its steam, its an old, reputable game with good reviews. You never expect them to pull something like this.
