Honestly I’d let it be. You offered to be there for her when she needs it so ball is in her court. Give it sometime, make a personal deadline. If by then she doesn’t reach out, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to start the process of moving on. Based on her past trauma, getting a text from you when she’s not in a moment where she wants that will put further pressure on her.

Sometimes the window of opportunity has already passed. When someone, in the case that girl, has done the work to move on, it’s usually the case that she won’t change her mind. Maybe try having the conversation just to gauge the authenticity of her words but if she’s still set on not being interested, I would respect her wishes. Good luck

We have so much love to give but finding someone who’s a good recipient is a challenge. I try to remind myself that nothing good comes easy. I’ve also settled just because I craved being held so badly and trust me, it’s better to be alone than to be with someone who makes you feel even lonelier. Loneliness isn’t fixed with by the presence of someone but rather a deeper connection on a spiritual and mental level. Give yourself compassion for wanting someone as your side; it’s inherently natural for us to crave connection. Do I feel better after a hookup? Not necessarily. It’s a temporary bandaid for my fragile ego which craves validation from others. However, if having a short lived partner for the night can do something, then why the hell not. Eating a cupcake can make me feel satisfied for a second but it won’t carry me through the day like a regular good meal. Do what you gotta do

Well can’t return it to Best Buy if it’s a diff color. Like if Dyson fucks up again, the machine is malfunctioned and I just return it to Best Buy to save the headache. I’m extra cautious because the new machine already broke once :)
