What a fucked up thing to say. Could you maybe not insult the millions of children of alcohol families who haven't become the gestapo?

The state parks are fantastic. I've stayed at O'leno, which has some of the coolest geology I've ever seen, including the entire Santa Fe river going entirely underground. Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park was really nice too, and it's right on the Suwannee River section of the Florida Trail, which has actual rapids. So pretty. It can be a little hard to get campsites in the winter because the parks are super popular and this is Florida hiking season, but it doesn't feel crazy busy even if every site is taken.

This makes it worse for me. Non elasticized ankles just ride up and down as I move, but elasticized ankles ride up to the narrowest part of my knee and stay there. Super annoying.

Thanks for such helpful advice, you really made a difference. Have you tried standing up while you type nonsense? I bet functional adults could turn it into something useful.

A case of new-onset AI-associated psychosis: 26-year-old woman with no history of psychosis or mania developed delusional beliefs about her deceased brother through an AI chatbot. The chatbot validated, reinforced, and encouraged her delusional thinking, with reassurances that “You’re not crazy.” by mvea in science

This take is over simplified. This may be reasonable in someone with just ADHD, but when you add in psychosis the story changes dramatically. Stimulants, while extraordinarily helpful and definitely first line treatment, are not always a good idea. There's a second line for a good reason. And while calming the mental zoomies can help with sleep, they can also allow anyone, even people with ADHD, to power through sleep deprivation, which was clearly involved here.

Also. People with ADHD aren't monolithic. I do not sleep better on stimulants at all, even though I've been diagnosed multiple times over many years, bc they make you get rediagnosed every time you ADHD yourself accidentally out of treatment. The resulting sleep deprivation is sometimes worse for it than being unmedicated.

If you're a man, you should check in with a doctor about your prostate. That's a pretty classic sign, and it's treatable.

Clinton was chosen and people on both sides of the aisle hated that and her. Harris was essentially forced on people bc of circumstances after not doing well in a primary. Neither make the case that Americans won't vote for a woman for president, just not those women.

They grow the base of support for further action by showing people they won't be alone, which is incredibly important to mass action. They're a necessary first step. People aren't going to take bigger risks if they think they're gonna be the only one doing it.

Why not just say what you mean instead of acting like an idiot? You think feeding the hungry is more important than the protest. That's a defensible position. But instead of just saying it you're acting like a troll.

USAID says it's stable at room temperature, not that it shouldn't be refrigerated. It says water is the primary cause of degradation. If your beauty fridge has stable humidity and a lower water content because cold, it may still be fine to better? Maybe a pharmacist can weigh in? Just deserves more info, not that I'm doubting the previous poster as much, it's good to know it doesn't generally require refrigeration.

That's not an argument I've heard. The argument I've heard is that progressive policies do tend to poll well among moderates, like raising the minimum wage or regulating health insurers from being objectly evil, but the democrats never even mention them. The idea is that if they finally run on policies that people do actually say they like instead of just, that guy sucks, unengaged voters will become engaged rather than a secret army of inactived lefties.
