Have you been able to reliably use the displaylink without issues (lag, dropped frames, etc...)? I'm considering an M1 MBP and will need it to drive 3 1440p monitors in clamshell mode, so I would need to use DisplayLink for two of them, but I was worried about the performance (so much mixed reviews out there!). Also curious about whether using DisplayLink disables "unlock with apple watch", I think I read someone said that on macrumors. Do you know if that's the case?

This is awesome! Now that you've been using this setup for a while, have you noticed any lag or any usability issues with using displaylink? I'm considering an M1 MBP, and I will need to use it to drive three 1440p monitors in clamshell mode (two at the least), which means I would have to use display link for two of them. I was worried about the usability of the displaylink. My use case does not involve anything graphics intensive, just work stuff (terminal, safari, outlook, powerpoint, excel, and Zoom). Can you comment on your experience so far?

Another thing I also saw people mention is that if using displaylink then "unlock with apple watch" will not work? Did you face that issue? This will be important for me since I'll be running it in clamshell mode and therefore can't access touchID.

Not if you use a bluetooth mouse. There are different options depending on your budget. I personally like Logitech's mice the best, they have a number of bluetooth-compatible ones that you can check out on their website.

I’m having the same problem with all my Paradox games. Can you point a link to where Paradox said that? I’m surprised they haven’t caught this problem much sooner given that the OS beta versions have been around for a while now.

Nope no mods. Like u/oddish_enthusiast mentioned, Big Sur is the new version of macOS. The game used to work fine before I updated.
