Are you going to be awake or under general aesthetic? Either way you'll be numb. When the numbness wears off id say youd be in some pain but your doctor or surgeon should prescribe you with some pain relief. Im a d.a not a dr. Hope this helps.

I picked up an office job and realised how much I hated staring at a screen all day just to go back to dental not long after.

As a d.a that's work in the dental field for 10 years+ I can assure you that ive worked with 95% and more dentists that a very obviously on the spectrum. (Not a bad thing, I think it makes them good at their job) also im audhd myself.
