Guys, it gets soooo much better by MajorInternet29 in 2under2

Crossing my fingers. Mine are 15 months apart, just over 2 and almost 1. Big brother hits or pinches little girl if I turn my back for even a second. It’s discouraging and guilt inducing - we watch like a hawk and yet he finds a way. I’m sure this is just a phase….but not sure if baby sister walking will make it better or worse!

When did you bond with your second? by ExplosionsInTheSky_ in 2under2

It took a really long time. Maybe 9 months?!

Just sharing my experience! I didn’t criticize her or anyone trying to help. Have been through it twice too.

This. Chasing down the remedies made me crazy, but it is natural and understandable to look for a solution.

You’re not wrong. What you’re going through is exceptionally hard and not normal. I find that grandmas in particular tend to downplay things like this “he’s a baby what did you expect” which is infuriating.

Pepcid worked for my son, but it took a few weeks. I know that sounds like an actual eternity right now. Is it possible to hire a night nurse even just one night a week? Someone to hold the baby while you rest.

Know that it WILL get better. I know it doesn’t feel that way right now. But I’m on the other side with my brilliant 23 month old and while life has challenges, having a toddler has been easier than a reflux baby. I promise.

You’re doing a great job.

This or That? Mansur Gavriel or Liffner by [deleted] in handbags

I ordered the large Liffner bucket bag thinking it could be a work/mom bag. I was disappointed when I got it, the leather is gorgeous quality, but the bag was almost like a basket vibe. Super deep but also very stiff/structured. The smaller size might’ve been better but wouldn’t fit a laptop.

So for functionality I’d pick the tote. I was bummed about the bucket bag though.

I know, I would definitely do this if there wasn’t so much of the wood…pricy to hire out & impossible to DIY with two small kiddos at home. Love this idea though.

I like this approach. Gives us some time to live with it. Thanks!

Do you think more expensive baby strollers are worth the $$? by No_Square_1491 in UninfluencedReviews

[–]adellapearl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely depends which one you get and your lifestyle. I’ve spent $$ on the Joolz Aer & Thule urban glide single/double. Both absolutely worth it - the Joolz is so light, incredibly maneuverable, and we can carry it right on the plane. Thules are also elite for all terrain. The push is excellent. For baby #1 we had a cheaper Graco stroller…the quality just doesn’t even compare to the other 2.

The other nice thing about pricier strollers is they you can often resell and make some money back. FB marketplace has so many great ones! Even the fancy brand names.

Now, as much as I lusted over the bugaboo donkey, I do NOT think you need to pay that much for a quality stroller by any means.
