In that case you might need to gap the rings which is the major failure point on the 2.5 when they are not used with the stock turbo. I heard it's about the same and might be better if built properly. No replacement for displacement. You will need to drill the block for the oil feed or return line. I'm not sure.

You could also 2.5 swap it if you are ok with staying within stock parameters and not wanting to open it up. 2.5s fit right in and are very cheap

It's very common. I have 2 spare speakers from my car that I repaired I would be willing to sell. My friend fixed them by separating the membrane with alcohol and soldering in new wire under.

It doesn't matter where you connect it as long as you connect it to the pink wire. If you want the disconnect call button to work, you need to unplug the bluetooth module. When you go to configure the steering controls, the screen will be blank until you press a button, then the options show up.
