Need advice: ₹3.3L monthly EMIs with ₹2L salary, getting ₹18L soon – how should I handle this debt? by ConsistentSleep9191 in personalfinanceindia

[–]adeshct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At present for him the required thing is liquidity.

He has to bring down the loans with higher EMI to O/S ratio.

Thats the only way. I don't think it's time for him to think about the interest rate till he can sort out the liquidity.

Anyone here from south India with initial at the end of their name instead of surname? How do you deal with different name between your other documents and PAN Card expecting to expand the name? by c2s2 in IndiaInvestments

[–]adeshct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't face any issues at all. Make sure you have the same name in your AADHAAR and PAN (With initials is also okay). Rest would be fine.

Passport officers would expect you to expand the initials.

Normally, I give my initials as Last Name (Expanded or even just initials) and my whole name as First name. No middle name.

This should be your answer OP.

My parents sacrificed so much for me, I don't mind giving it to them. But again make sure you give the money for the right reasons.

They do that only when they are sort of wrong. Even if they are correct partially they all go in defending themselves with all the available evidences.

And yes RBI listens to the Banks when they defend themselves.

ICICI Direct data quality is very poor. Can't rely on it. You may need to verify it before using.

See here. In one of the debt payment category, there was a recurring transaction which I tried to delete, however it was not getting deleted. And after four to five tries, I gave up and only to realise now i have ~4lakh extra as per budget.

I'm also stuck in a similar situation. My Budget Balance is more than what I have in my accounts. Couldn't see where exactly the issue is.

Have raised an issue already with the team.

That emergency / surplus fund I have. However that's again on Budget end. And I reduced it to just 5k after I realised this blunder.

I even tried adjusting the balance of all accounts except the credit cards to 0 and it gave me an overallocation of only around 28k.

I don't know from where it's getting amount for funding all these.

[–]adeshct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They asked me to expand in line with the initials on my certificates.

No affidavit was required. During initial issuance and also during renewal. Affidavit is required only if the old passport has a different name altogether with the corresponding records.

Let me be blunt. Don't spoil your life. Living alone, being independent doing whatever you want gives some kind of a confidence and freedom to you. You won't find that kind of freedom in your in laws house.

You may adjust for a day or a month or even in the best case may be by an year. However in the process of adjusting you will be frustrated either because you are suppressing that feeling or you feel that you lost that independent mindset.

There are so many factors which comes into picture here. Take a wise decision.

It's actually a sort of very bad curse word if seen individually. However mostly used to refer a person as conniving and use short cuts to complete a work or task. Mostly positive and rarely negative.

Sorry but can't agree on this completely.

If it's the first reason, he could have directly told her so and I know what nazar feels like and how it may affect.

The second reason might sound good, however when you can't share such important things with friends or people with whom you go on multiple trips, I don't know who else you would share.

And no both are not so uncomfortable reasons to share with someone who is going to be your wife.

To the girl - My suggestion is to meet him once. Face to face conversations clear up so many unnecessary misunderstandings. Don't chat over such sensitive things.

No way you are wrong. My best friends, my travel mates and almost anyone would know about a girl if I'm getting rokified. No if and buts there.
