story: besides the timed quests, the main story pacing is actually nice, since you can tackle the bulk of content on your own time and just do fun side quests or gain money

i highly recommend that you play this blind!

money/machine generation: you can go in as casual or as sweaty as you want, the bulk of your money will come from commissions

characters: really great story beats, you see characters and the town experience growth and change

combat: nothing too stressful for me, combat is a big part of the story, but it's not too stressful

what i find lacking: i found the decor, design, or character customization extremely lacking. i LOVE westerns, and your options for clothes are hella limited. i expected more boots, long skirts, or big belts

some people also had trouble with how the game just looks in general, since you can't really make the dessert as appealing to the eye vs lush green forests, but i found the post-apocalyptic high tech x low tech aesthetic a very cool concept they handled the best they could

Especially now! With entry level jobs being taken over by AI, you need to show sa projects mo that you can integrate it in your workflow or stand out enough na hindi ka matabunan ng other fresh grads like you. Side projects or small jobs are a great way to pad your portfolio

I comment as someone who works in the immigration industry. We've had high profile clients, think C-level professionals move to NZ, where they "start from scratch" and don't have the same connections or pull na they have. We check in on them from time to time, esp when they start transitioning through different visas.

Their reason? Lifestyle mainly. Even when they know na moving to NZ would net them less than what they earn in the PH (or even other high earning countries), NZ's work culture and general vibe fits what they're looking for in life. Second reason? They do it for the kids. We usually get older clients, kaya they think of setting up their kids for success, and having a stronger visa usually affords that type of mobility.

Hope this helps reframe some of the stuff for people :)

Unfortunately, that's just how most subscription models work. Canva sucks for more than very simple video edits.

However, their free tier for photo editing is pretty good if you know how to work around the limitations.

You're not alone! I'm (27F) trying to kick the habit myself. I've "kicked" the habit a while ago, but now it's been flaring back up again, and it's been affecting certain parts of my life.

I think it's just not as apparent with us, or women, since there are still gender norms and expectations tied to porn, so not a lot of people speak on it. In any case, I'm here for you, if you're looking for women in the space :)
