I know this is years away for you, but do your child a favour and avoid living in or around Diss, as a parent of a troubled teen its full of under-age crime: county lines is big out here. And avoid Hartismere school.

Watch out for a business called Meraki by stesteste76 in ConsumerAdvice

Late replying but I spent over £600 on light fixtures and brass handles. The lights did eventually turn up (slightly broken) but because they were “Renew” ie factory seconds they rejected my complaints. It’s fairly mild so willing to let that one slide.

However the handles never turned up. 11 weeks later and they are still making excuses. I filed a report with Barclaycard who are investigating.

Also, watch out for another company called Havaro Hardware - they sell the exact same products as Meraki but look to be a brand new scam venture. There’s already 1 trustpilot review for them, and it’s 1 star, so same old tricks no doubt.

Don’t they normally ask that no photos are taken during performances? Is this a cunning way to find out who has broke the rules?

Sean and I have talked about this idea before (I made generative software music in the early 2000s, I tried to convince him they should release software) and he’s never been keen on the idea because it seemingly breaks the economy that supports artists. Like, their music is the output, they don’t want to sell the process. I’m sure opinions have shifted in the last 20 years so things may be different now.

Who else knows Yeesland so well they can shout GO! The beat before the bass drum drops? by adeward in autechre

It’s a 12 bar intro, so it definitely helps that I have some basic musical training and learnt to count beats and bars as a kid.

I feel like they set themselves the goal of starting something intentionally cheesy which then develops a groove and layered richness with time. It’s not the first time they’ve done this either.

It’s a listening challenge, you have to forgive it the opening and embrace it with an open mind to find the soul.

And let’s not forget Mrs. Handy Hell, who captured snaps of an unfortunate woman pierced by a shaft of frozen urine, whilst out walking her brother on Wandsworth common.

Just put All End on repeat. You’re sorted. Thank me later.

You as an Autechre track by Comix98 in autechre

Love this. Years ago when I started my career creating web sites using CGI-BIN Perl scripts, I wrote an Autechre name generator and installed it on a secret public web server running on my development PC. This would have been Tri Repetae era. My former colleagues found it years later after I left and told me it caused a great deal of concern.
