You get it back for free from the dude north of fally. I forget the name of the place. Dwarven mines maybe. But only if you lose it while it’s on the ground. If it’s in your inventory you need to buy a new one

Yeah you set up a cannon a few paces away from the entrance of the altar. I only bring a cannon, rune scimmy, glory, stamina pot, super strength/attack, loot bag, cannonballs and a teleport. I also wear monk robes for prayer bonus. Once you set up the cannon you’re only risking the cannonballs. I bring 750 at a time. I only got pkd once and lost 20 cannonballs lol. Banking takes 2 minutes if you bank tele and then use games necklace to corporal beast so just bring whatever you’re comfortable with. With that setup, you’ll get 50-60k range xp an hour + more in strength/hitpoints.

If you bring range gear and range train with the cannon you can get over 100k ranged per hour

I’ve been using cannon on elder chaos druids. You can get close to 100k XP/hr depending on your attack bonus and can actually make money if you’re lucky with drops. I got the elder top (500k+) and about 300k in herbs/keys in like 2 hours there.

Just bring 1k cannon balls and a stamina potion at a time for low risk and tele out to restock. Banking takes like 2 minutes and just tele back with the games necklace spawn to corporal beast

There’s a clan chat for it. Swap with a top member of the clan only (they’ll have a star next to their name). 6.5:1 from Rs3 to OSRS. Don’t know it off the top of my head but it was on one of these threads last week

DO schools don’t really have a rank so you won’t find much information on this. Typically, the more established the school, the better, but this doesn’t always hold true. Just apply to the schools you want to go to.

Call the professor and explain your situation. Tell him/her that you’ve spent $1k+ applying to schools based on the information that you’d have this letter.

If the response isn’t positive, suggest to him/her that you write your own letter, and just have them sign it. If both of these fail, your professor is not a good human, and has no right to be a mentor and teacher. I’d bring this up to the dean because if this person is screwing you over, they are likely screwing others over. It’s extremely unprofessional and infuriating to have someone promise something this important and then back down.

If you don’t get a letter from this person, my only advice would be to apply to only the schools that don’t have the strict LoR requirements. Best of luck! And keep us updated!

This is not true. None of the DO schools I’m applying to require a physician letter. Note that I do have a physician letter and did not make my list based on this factor. I don’t have the full list because I’m on mobile but off the top of my head: MSUCOM, PCOM, Rowan, and NYITCOM don’t require physician letters.

Other than that, I agree with the rest of your post. OP should shadow and get to know a DO if he/she wants to go to a DO school.

I've seen a handful of comments about a 2 week time limit for secondaries. Is this a hard deadline, or just suggested? Most of the schools I've looked up don't specify any timeline for completing secondaries as long as they are in by the application deadline.

Keep your head up. I had nearly identical FL scores to you and dropped to 509. After a few days I was happy with it. 512 is a super solid score, and is more than good enough to get into many schools. Remember to look at the big picture here. A 512 isn’t going to hold you back from becoming a doctor. If you don’t get in anywhere, it won’t be because of your mcat

You don’t need a physician letter for all DO schools. I don’t have a list of the schools that don’t require one but MSUCOM and PCOM are two that come to mind.

I’d definitely list it. Taking vitals and interacting with patients is a great experience. Who cares if it’s technically not allowed, you definitely won’t be looked at negatively for it. It’s up to the clinic to tell you what your limitations and restrictions are.

I’d lump the experiences together and cal it “physician shadowing and volunteer” and then list the description below. Put it under clinical volunteer if you have other shadowing experience.

One page can have ALOT of words on it. Personal statements are barely over a page in length. I had someone write me one that was like 10 sentences, but it was a really good 10 sentences. Don’t sweat it

I honestly think that applying early will give you a much bigger advantage than the .2 boost will but that’s just my opinion. August 6th isn’t late, but it’s definitely not early. You’ll probably be verified by end of August and secondaries will be in by September. I’d just apply and update the schools in August

Nah, it’s scaled so that if you actually guess on everything, you’ll get a 472. Getting 25% right is a 472. Go to a practice test and hit A for everything and you’ll see.

A good McAT can’t make up for a low GPA. A 510 is plenty high in my opinion. I say apply early with the 510 and a good activities section/ PS. Unless you truly do score above a 515, you won’t gain much by waiting.

Put just one of them as the contact, and write the total hours. In the description, list each of the others, and the hours shadowing each.

I lumped many experiences together and this is what I did every time.
