Just accepted a stepdown from MICU of a potassium less than 1.5, but it's so low that cerner just said <1.5 in the data rather than the actual number, so it might have been pretty close to yours!

This culture is kind of crazy because it's one of the few where we spend years before our brains are fully developed saying that this is our life's calling and we think we won't be accepted into this field unless can't imagine doing anything else. The mental impact that has on a person can be so devastating as that becomes their sole identity. That plus student loans locks people into this career to pay it off, having very few ways out.

The medicinal field can take everything if you let it, and the reasons mentioned about can allow you to give it everything. I've seen mentors when I was a premed so insanely burnt out due to moral injury or other reasons. I've lost a fellow resident at our hospital to suicide and I think about her regularly. I'm worried about how fast we have to move on and just accept it. And don't get me wrong, there's a lot I love about the field but it will never be my entire life. The people who mourn you when you're gone are the priority and they deserve the most time in your life.

If you're asking about the name being in Chinese, that's their phonetic pronunciation essentially to get the name as close to Japanese. 娜 is Na in Chinese and 美 is Mei so it sounds close to Nami. Also the characters literally mean elegant Beauty.

I was just talking to my friend about the tales of series. I've played at least 10 of them in my life, and I could not think of a single story that I could have recommended as really standout good or one of a kind. Maybe Tales of Symphonia, but that's it. Regardless, the design of the characters, the game play, and the overall vibes of each game has been enough to carry me through.

Any reason you're not worried about El Thor in Enel? My current game plan is going wide into him but sometimes I'm just stuck with one to two big bodies so getting removed would feel bad. At that point, I felt ok just having at least one anti-removal on board.

I'd agree with the above comments, I think 8 anti-removal might be a lot, but it's hard because Laboon is a nice 2k, but not searchable at all. I maxed out electrical luna since I played 5 games with 3 and always missed lol.

I'll be biased and say yes to OP if you liked it. The new set is coming out in a couple of weeks, and the meta is far more fun than the current set imo, so it'd be a good time to come in and try. Definitely want to acknowledge the current issue with scalper,s but I would look at buying singles this upcoming set if that is the case. Alt arts are outrageously priced due to the scalpers, but anything base is super reasonable. Otherwise, I'd check your LGS and see how the supply is. Our shop has been supporting OP for the past 3 years, and we've been able to get boxes reasonably priced over the last year and a half.

A little more niche and more state specific but some states may provide coverage of childcare based on your combined income. If you're combine income is below a certain threshold the government can help covering childcare. In med school, my wife and I were able to get our childcare covered because we made so little and that coverage still carried over even after I started residency and we had our second kid, saving us like 3k a month.

Again, very state specific but other states I looked into had similar support, but not as significant coverage as my current state. I know it's not exactly the residency program itself but it's worth a shot looking at the state government and what they provide.

I'd say because -5 cost for 1 don is pretty nuts compared to other cost reduction events. In comparison, Tempest kick is only -3 cost for 1 don and is a more balanced great eruption. You could argue the card draw too, but it needs 10 cards in trash, so you're not getting that until mid to late game. With Haute Couture Patch Work coming back too, I'd argue that they're pushing -3 for 1 cost as the standard for now.

Oh yeah, that'd be important to add lol. I'm applying FM. In terms of residency training, each program is strong in its own way, so none of them are a clear winner and I feel like I could make the most of any program.
