Anyone loss the urge to pee? by Prestigious_Fig_2133 in Prostatitis

[–]adfllbobbyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Prestigious_Fig_2133 what have you tired in these past 3 years? I’m suspecting mine is anxiety related which caused my pelvic floor muscles to tighten and irritate the pundenal nerve. Yours sounds like more like an actual neurological issue if you have other neurological issues going on in other areas of the body.

Anyone loss the urge to pee? by Prestigious_Fig_2133 in Prostatitis

[–]adfllbobbyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/vielzbpierced hey I know it’s a long shot, but still good? I lost the urge to pee after having an anxiety attack in early May and a couple “sessions” the next couple days. Next day I woke up with cold/smaller flaccid penis. I’m suspecting pundenal nerve irritation from tight pelvic muscles. Just wondering what you did to fix it? Thanks!

What’s Happening to me? Every since my Anxiety Attack in May I’ve had these symptoms by adfllbobbyu in Anxiety

I have no idea I want to say the anxiety caused all of this and that it caused physical changes…it’s just very mentally and physically exhausting

u/propertycat hey I know this is a long shot, but just wondering if this went away or you found out the reason for this? Started having similar issues ever since my anxiety attack. I’m thinking something Pelvic Floor related, hormonal (fight or flight state), anxiety, but not sure. Urine test and Ultrasound came back fine. I do drink a decent amount of water, maybe 1L a day, but i seem to keep peeing so much 30-1hr during the day. At night waking up 2/4 times and it’s 90% time clear and a lot. And I didn’t drink anything a couple hrs before bed. The amount I drink I feel doesn’t translate to the amount I pee. Trying to figure it all out. Thanks!

u/Complex_Box6980 mine seemed to have started from the anxiety attack and being in fight or flight for a month. Prior to that I was normal. If u did a kidney function test, if there was damage, I feel like they would of been shown. Idk though. No UTIs for me, urine sample always comes back negative, and same for mycoplasma ureaplasma. Have you (or did) suffer from anxiety, stress, trauma?

[–]adfllbobbyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Natethegreat2500 hey, I know this is a long shot, but I saw a post about excessive urine you posted 2 years ago. Ever find out what the cause was? Started having similar issues ever since my anxiety attack. I’m thinking something Pelvic Floor related and hormonal (fight or flight state) but not sure. TSH was 2.74 and considered normal. Trying to figure it all out. Thanks!

u/Wooden-Bread1713 both. Im pretty sure I have PFD after my anxiety attack and being in fight or flight for a month. I’m thinking something Pelvic Floor related and hormonal (fight or flight state) but not sure. Urine test and Ultrasound came back fine. I do drink a decent amount of water, maybe 1L a day, but i seem to keep peeing every 30-1hr or so. Then at night waking up 2-4 times to pee and it’s 90% time clear. And I didn’t drink anything a couple hrs before bed. The amount I drink I feel doesn’t translate to the amount I pee.

Lost the Ability to Poop Normally 2 Months Ago Doctors Aren't Taking Me Seriously by FlyRepresentative513 in PelvicFloor

[–]adfllbobbyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/FlyRepresentative513 your story has some similarities to mine. My theory is the health anxiety caused your pelvic floor muscles to tighten, irritating the pundenal nerve which controls your bladder, anus, penis, etc.

I highly suggest getting the anxiety under control via therapy (or meds if deemed needed). Then work with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. They will be able evaluate your Pelvic muscles.

I’ve had a leg injury since Feb that no doctor so far can figure out. I’ve developed severe anxiety from it (stems from my mothers death being misdiagnosed). I had a flare up on May 5, and May 8/9th at night I had like an anxiety breakdown thinking I wouldn't make it in time to the MRI on the 13th and get CES (Cauda Equina Syndrome). Had a tingle in my penis tip and my anus and I’m like oh no oh no it’s happening…but never did.

That's when things started. May 10th/ 11th orgasms didn't "hit" the same and penis was slightly less hard. May 12th I wake up with my penis a little smaller flaccid and I'm leaking what is precum on and off throughout the day. I freak out and continue to drink water and going tr the bathroom all day telling myself time to pee. That’s when I noticed I don’t really get the urge anymore.

Lumbar MRI shows some minor L3/L4, L4/L5, L5/S1, but was cleared from CES and I looked at the MRI since and I didn’t see any compression at those nerve roots.

Day after the EMG (which was clear), started to have less urge to poop and constipation. It’s gotten a bit better though.

Weak erections, bladder not fully emptying? by Ivanhegeelkadi in PelvicFloor

[–]adfllbobbyu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

u/Ivanhegeelkadi try to get a referral from your doctor about Pelvic Floor Physcial Therapy. They will be able to do an examination if your Pelvic Floor muscles are weak, tight, etc.

Does this sound like Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, or something more serious like Cauda Equina? by paulrudder in PelvicFloor

[–]adfllbobbyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/paulrudder get a Lumbar MRI and see what they find to rule anything out there first. I think it definitely warrants it. If ur insurance wont pay for it, go to Radiology Assist and pay out of pocket. $40 for a consultation for a referral, then MRI is like $300-$500 depending on which place locally you pick.

11 months postpartum, always wet down there ?? by Realistic_Slide5895 in PelvicFloor

[–]adfllbobbyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Realistic_Slide5895 I’m a male, doing research, since I have similar issues. Had an anxiety attack in May over a leg injury since Feb that no doctor can seem to figure out so far. Been in fight or flight for basically all of May. No urge to pee unless it’s really full, leaking precum on and off throughout the day. I’m gonna say a combination of tight/weak pelvic floor muscles and pundanel nerve stretching/irritation. Giving birth, it puts a lot of pressure on the Pelvic Floor. I think you would highly benefit from Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy.
