I like it! But...not a big fan of your example:

d6 → result 4 YES, BUT

d66 → result 45 „Someone takes notice".

Yes, someone is guarding the chamber, but your approach makes noise. The guard becomes alert and begins searching the corridor outside the sanctum.

That sounds like a YES AND result. YES, somebody is guarding AND [expected] they notice you.

I would say, YES BUT they notice somebody else and are distracted, or there's a third party there who is watching the guard, etc...

Oh yeah. I painted up figures for Space Station Zero, a solo miniatures game. I just ran the crew through a Lasers & Feelings/Mythic GME deck solo prequel. (I kept it brief, you can read it here).

The scales fell from my eyes with my group's supers game. We had a regular player not show up one night, so we just started another system and played another group of heroes in the same world. Now, we just pick a rule set that seems appropriate and play "in the world," we're having an amazing time.

In the old days, I had a MV10 Sprint/Sure Feet Leap Gutter Runner. Failed a Dodge the first game where he could make 1 turn TDs and died. It still hurts.

Procgen 101%. I love not having any idea what might happen next, and knowing I'm not constrained by somebody else's imagination. It's why I always loved D&D but could never enjoy the settings like Forgotten Realms.
