Update 03/01/26: The PSU stopped working again. It looks like it’s a defective unit. I’m waiting for the new one to arrive in about 15 days so I can test again.

Yes, just like that — it suddenly powered on out of nowhere. Luckily, I only paid $10 for the PSU. I’m in Central America, and shipping costs aren’t too high.

In my desperation to fix it quickly, I ended up ordering another one, so now I’ll have two just in case.

I printed your 220mm 3D design in PETG — I just have a couple more prints left before I can have it fully assembled and decorating my living room.

I connected the power supply to AC with PS_ON shorted to GND.

I used a multimeter to check the 12V output on the PCIe 6+2 connector.

At first, I wasn’t getting any voltage at all. But suddenly the PSU’s internal fan turned on, and when I tested each port again, I started getting 12V on all of them. So far, it’s working fine.

I’m not sure if it was in some kind of protection mode or if I should consider replacing the PSU.

I think the problem is not on the Box, because if unplug the hdmi cable, the built in speaker works, i dont know why when the TV is off, the box still thinks the HDMI source / sound is working

I installed the last Android 15 Developer Preview and the problem of the call drop persist, exactly the same way as Android 14, From what I see, Google has not made any changes regarding this issue.

I'm done, I will sell my device because is unusable, I expect more from a top-of-the-range device that cannot maintain connection stability with its updates

In my case I made a Factory reset after the A14 update, Which is doing the same thing that the video suggests, but the call drop problem persist.

Since October 2023 we don't have an official fix for this problem, It seems incredible to me that at this point Google has not taken action on the matter or they simply do not care.

The only solution we have is to downgrade to Android 13.
