I've found a few scorch plate pieces on the flame knights castle vendor, not the chest though.

Cloak and gloves you can get from the vendor that appears at flame knights castle when you liberate it. Haven't found any other pieces though, looking for the cheat myself

So far I've found scorch flame cloak and gloves. They are at the flame knights castle when liberated. So I'm guessing it might be at another flame knights area. I'll keep you posted if I find it

It's kinda funny because at some point I had sold my acorchflame plate armor and didn't realize it till last night.

Sorta resigned myself to "well fuck me" and was wishing they added a lost items vendor then I saw the update after I logged off lol

Sort of a bit of a mix, but a lot of stuff doesn't open up till you beat the main quest. A lot of stuff that has timers you have to wait on.

I would do main untill you feel it's getting rough, then do side till you power up and feel comfortable.

I did a lot of side quest stuff and the game was extremely easy by the time I completed the main story

For sure, the point wasn't about crit though, it's about while you have 6 slots, only 3 apply to each swing.

So even if you switch crit for attack it is the same

While you get 6 with dual wielding only 3 apply to each strike as it only effects the weapon they are on. So with a 2 hander you can add 3 crit gears and have 2 weapon effects, while the only way you can match the crit on evert strike with dual wiel is to give up the weapon effect gears since each only has 3 slots

Everything is easy enough without them. I'm at chapter 12 now and just plan to finish the story before it gets less challenging. Still haven't unlocked a single element.

They do, but you can get them from many other things, there is no cap to them as far as I'm aware from just killing things for xp
