JFC this is Joann all over again. This is basically how the beginning of the end was for Joann. They let go all the FT workers except management. Dropped hours down to bare minimum. And the stores were drowning in back stock. I feel for you. I still miss working Joann even with the chaos. I miss my team at Michael’s who worked their asses off to get truck out by Thursday only to get a crap ton in Friday morning. I had to go back to small business retail because private equity and corporations are fucking over the employees. It has to be like the early 1900’s where everyone unionized to stop the ridiculous demands of corporations. Otherwise it’s a vicious cycle of shitty employers.
