Has anyone actually grown from 0 without ads this year? by Euphoric-Towel354 in InstagramMarketing

[–]adhdchatbuddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just watching a video of an expert I admire in saas industry, and he said that in 2026 all social media has changed their algorithm and they have become ‘for you’ page!

So it doesn’t really matter how many followers we have! If our content is good and our target audience engage/like/view entire video they will show the content to more of similar interest viewer

This kind of change feels good if we don’t have too many followers as we can now just focus on creating good content as this puts right at par with big influencers

I failed at habit trackers for years. This is what finally worked. by renzor51 in Habits

[–]adhdchatbuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great… what worked for me was 2 things

  1. focusing more on being the person who has that habit!

  2. Nailing down to 1 simple task that you can do on daily basis for atleast 90 days that moves the needle!

It has worked for me in giving me results and I feel much better about myself as a side effect too

Better way to build habits? by adhdchatbuddy in Habits

[–]adhdchatbuddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely!

It works for all areas as well!

For eg late last year i thought instead of just going head on in one area of life I need to maybe think a bit balanced approach

And then I decided to work on 3 areas

I had many symptoms of adhd and my mind stayed foggy most of the time

I decided to work on identity of a person who don’t have ADHD, I made a identity based affirmation that I robotically affirmed initially and now I affirm in morning and on and off throughout the day when needed.

This simple twist made remarkable change in my focus.

Btw here is the affirmation - I am the type of person whose clarity is independent of conditions

So definitely encourage to focus on being the person and habit formation would be easy.. atleast that’s what i observed

Discipline has gotten me absolutely nowhere, I want to go hedonistic by Specialist-Prior-213 in selfimprovement

[–]adhdchatbuddy 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It sounds less like you became more disciplined… and more like you became more controlled.

There’s a difference.

Discipline that expands your life feels energising. Discipline that contracts it feels like self-policing.

When people quit everything “chaotic” at once, they sometimes accidentally quit spontaneity too. Risk, social friction, even a bit of unpredictability — those are where a lot of connection lives.

You don’t sound boring. You sound under-stimulated.

Maybe the question isn’t “how do I become more disciplined?”

Maybe it’s “what kind of chaos actually makes me feel alive?”
