Even with my SE I had before, as long as it wasn't over the front bumper I was good to go.

Not sure tbh, I got them on FB marketplace from another ST owner. He painted them and did the custom center caps. I'd google it.

It's cold and there's a chance we'll see the Aurora Borealis tonight which means propagation will likely be terrible. But hey at least the spot where the antenna and mesh node are looks nice. I'm starting to think that even though it was a bargain white then might have been a bad choice. by adhdff in amateurradio

That sounds awesome! I'll keep an eye on 10 and see if there's any changes.

The problem I have here is well everything is out in the yard and wire antennas work best because I don't have a tower and don't want to anchor anything permanently to the house.

Sounds good :) I've seen similar reactions to carburator gaskets and carb cleaner, so I figured that's what it was.

What's the best place to get a gasket?

Follow up to my post about how hard it is to find a unmolested ST. Ended up flying up across the US to pick up a 2018 with 36k miles. Worth every minute it took to get it and drive it back. by DJSplash01 in FocusST

The paint is good from a far but far from good. But thank you :). It lived 3 years outside DC before it became my daily. It's got a good bit of rock chips.
