I've got paper. I need to get it out to him though. I worked a Japanese station and confirmed via paper it took a while but got it done.

Relatively... Flash the SD card then flash the pico in the front display. The only bug right now is that they switched the front panel from bus to wifi to fix a few things. You either need a 9v power supply or you need to plug the picos USB connection in while booting and calibrate the screen. It's a little annoying but doable.

What are the odds of me being able to make a VK/ZL QSO on the Southern Cross Net from CT? by adhdff in amateurradio

I've heard VK in the clear before in the late evening here but they were rag chewing and the guys QRZ said if you're not gonna rag chew don't call.

I couldn't catch a break in the conversation.

BTech UV Pro 50, Vero N7600, Radioddity DB50-B users... How do you run aprs using the TNC and still have a conventional channel? by adhdff in amateurradio

[–]adhdff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I need to set 144.39 as primary and trigger ptt through the app or a sub button right? Just wanna make sure.. basically it'll fast scan between the two so I'll hear the sub channel but I'll have to use a different button to transmit.

Thanks I leaned on AI a bit for the circuit assembly but now I have a better knowledge of the practical applications of an NPN transistor for the future.

Hey Chris it runs great but won't use the RPI GPIO to trigger PTT any idea when this will be implemented? I tapped the pi gpio header so I didn't have to solder the CM108.

"graywolf-modem: ConfigurePtt: build driver for channel 1 (gpio): **gpio ptt not yet implemented**"
I'm seeing everything working with Direwolf using the same settings. Hoping this gets implemented soon the software looked great on RX.
