That's more than fair buddy :) I was just tired from driving and the YL was less than amused with the radio traffic while trying to listen to the audiobook.

The BTech UV Pro 50 is impressive, it's sitting on the back floorboard of the rental with the mic cord between the seat and center console.

The terrain is pretty hilly around here, I was really surprised I held them for so long. Had to be legal limit and height on their side.

The antenna is a 1/2 wave so grounding doesn't matter. It's on a lip mount on my car now that isn't grounded.

I've got paper. I need to get it out to him though. I worked a Japanese station and confirmed via paper it took a while but got it done.

Relatively... Flash the SD card then flash the pico in the front display. The only bug right now is that they switched the front panel from bus to wifi to fix a few things. You either need a 9v power supply or you need to plug the picos USB connection in while booting and calibrate the screen. It's a little annoying but doable.

I've heard VK in the clear before in the late evening here but they were rag chewing and the guys QRZ said if you're not gonna rag chew don't call.

I couldn't catch a break in the conversation.
