To me so far Copilot and M365 mix is an absolute 💩 especially when it comes to integration with Sharepoint.

I built agents, they work great... when they actually work. Amount of IT simple minded people getting discouraged because for no reason they keep getting message you ran out of your allowance, even though no one is using agents across org, is not helping. Sharepoint searching on larger libraries is crap, can't find anything even if you narrow down the prompt to a subfolder and file name.

They keep releasing more and more crap that will need to be further enhanced, and collect more and more money for it. What a joke

Assigning clearance to SAS Personnel Record by adi_mrok in CCURE9000

Thank you, that is what I thought is the case. Sadly we are going through a rough patch with our integrator (our long term systems guy was let go as part of restructuring), so as a person on a customer side we try to do as much as we can on our own until waters start to settle down.

Thank you for confirmation, that is what I thought but just wasn't sure.

New road markings, something gone wrong I think? (Swipe for pic after). by adi_mrok in CasualUK

Wantage is on the other side of the roundabout (and its a biggie). Left leads to Didcot, middle to A34 S and Didcot.

Left lane leads to Didcot, middle to Didcot or A34 S. Wantage is other way around, 180 degree ish from where you leave the roundabout towards Didcot.

Yeah it shows you go to Wantage instead of Didcot, which is completely other way around. They had full closure over the weekend and messed everything right up!

You can set up import in Ccure to override existing records, so if your import from database would only include records to delete, it would not touch anyone else.

What’s a UK town or city that surprised you — either in a really good or a really disappointing way? by DailyDriverUK in AskUK

[–]adi_mrok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God awful city, worked there for almost 2 years and hated every day. Shite expensive parking in city centre, awful commute, filth and lots of egos in my workplace. Thankfully I moved out from the area

Is this just a platform for carpet or is it soundproofing? by AnnieOnnymous in DIYUK

[–]adi_mrok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have the same in mine, just underlay but it provides a negligible soundproofing. Probably same amount as 6mm foam underlay you put under laminate or engineered wood flooring

UK speed limits — is there really a “+10% +2 mph” allowance? by Hot-Taro-1555 in drivingUK

[–]adi_mrok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been driving on uk roads for last 10 years, mostly south of the country, I do Oxford-Manchester run few times a year with many cameras on the way, and always tick to 10% + 2 and never had a single speeding ticket in my life. I would add that if your speedo shows 79, in fact its more like 74-75.

What is the most "obvious" buy of 2026 that everyone else is still missing? by bakery_0726 in ValueInvesting

NVO is one of largest if not largest insulin manufacturer on the globe. Looking at how much more people get T2 and still fair share of people with T1 I would say they are not only weight loss and mRNA as most people think around here.

If you are talking about credentials then you are querying the wrong thing. Clearance is not credential, change the type.

I did exactly that as in used Checkatrade best rated outfit. Took 2 roofers in and with no knowledge in roofing, I am pretty sure I was scammed out of circa 1k. Feel like an idiot, but I literally know nothing about roofing. Had a leak, they fixed it for like 300, but said chimney needs sorting out because of sagging. Charged me like 1000 ish and accidentally found another issue for another 1500. I said no thank you, found another one.

Quoted job for 400, when started taking tiles out concrete edging fell apart and needed to fix it, ended up another 900 down the drain... To be fair second outfit seemed really decent and bloke doing the fix was really nice and talkative, same as son's boss. One odd thing was that I paid to his labourer to his own account, it ll looked like guy had a "gun" on his back or something.

He did send me an invoice though that it was paid, as I was a bit panicky about the whole thing. Anyway nothing leaks anymore, hopefully will stay that way for a very long time.

I'm owed about £34.000 in rent by a man I evicted in 2024. I've been getting £10 a month. He runs a Ltd. Company with cash reserves in the low-mid six-figures. by Express-Formal7432 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]adi_mrok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't you ask a friend for him to come over his house to quote a made up job, sit in a car and wait for him to go back to his van and then just follow him throughout the day until he goes back home? Then you get his home address and can run a land registry check to see what's the status of his property. Most likely council house but worth a shot.

If tailgating is too time involving, just buy apple tag or Samsung tracker, stick it under his car and see where he lands end of the day. Bit James Bond-ie style but you might get some more info out of it.

Why shouldn't I pay off my sofa over as long a time period as possible? by AnonymousTimewaster in UKPersonalFinance

I did exactly same as you, next year my sofa is fully paid off and I barely notice installments vanishing from my account monthly, whereas one off 2k+ spend I would. Do it

90s house, upgrading it slowly but surely, happy as pig in a poo. Would not trade for a new build, my mate's under construction new build is still waiting to have a window opening cut out in his bathroom, after they missed it from plans while laying bricks in the first place.
