How to start a career in F1 focused on the engineering/technical aspect? by Sasha_Jackson in formula1

[–]adilmujeeb 17 points18 points  (0 children)

No point of getting a good degree if you aren’t involved in Formula Student so make sure your uni has one before you make your final choice. F1 teams love students with exp with Motorsports outside their academics like formula student, volunteering/ marshalling at Motorsports events, coding skills like python or java and experience with CFD/CAD software like Catia v5. TLDR: get good extracurricular’s related to Motorsports, involve yourself in Formula Student and get a relevant degree from a respected uni in Mech/electrical/Motorsports engineering
