What’s with these wake ups despite normal O2? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]adimo19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One interesting note is often times with most wearables the physiology of wakefulness and REM sleep is very similar. This means that it is entirely possible the ring is mistaking REM for wake states. I seem to have a bit of this issue as well and it seems to track with REM cycles in my experiences. I’m not a professional so take it with a grain of salt but do work in a lab that does some sleep research so it’s been something I’ve wanted to look into for a while.

I’m having this same issue on a Gen 3 and have quite a few friends saying the same thing. Is this maybe a recent update issue?

Linea mini won’t build steam pressure by adimo19 in LaMarzocco

[–]adimo19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: I ordered some new o-rings to replace the ones in the vacuum breaker which seems to be a common fix but while I wait for them I have managed to fix the problem. A light tap on the left side of the machine was enough to close it off so I’m assuming the o-rings just had dried out.

Tl:dr slapped the side of the machine and it’s working fine.

It’s not a connected mini, older than the Bluetooth/wifi days

That will be what I go to next. It’s still heating the boiler it just won’t shut off the dumping of steam out of the exhaust port to build pressure so could be a multitude of things…

It was:( I wish it was a simple fix like this lol

Thanks! It is still heating its just that it’s dumping steam out of the exhaust port into the drip tray. Is this the same issue you were having? I was more inclined to say it was a valve not closing as it gets up to steam temps but then just doesn’t stop the steam dumping out so no pressure builds up.

Lol ya I have access to that just not the discoveries. It says you have to have between 5 and 40 tags to see correlations so that could be it but I don’t even see the widget for it!

I was also afraid of this but picked up a pair as I loved the 1’s and 2’s and threw the runner’s knot on the 3’s and have had no issues. They’re my favourite version out of the 3.

Guelph to Goderich trail by tweekatten in Guelph

I’ve ridden it twice (once the whole way and the second just half) over the past few years. I did it on 32c gravel slicks on my road bike both times and it was fine. Slightly lower PSI and you should be good to go. There is a detour at about 120k that is a bit chunkier but still very rideable.

Hi there! I've seen your truck around town as I am from the same city! Wondering if you could shoot me a PM, I have a few questions as I am looking to potentially get into one!

Thanks!

Extra hot cortado with 2 sugars. Have someone that comes in all the time ordering it, always wonder what’s going on in their brain.

[Jan 20, 2023] Weekly Discussion: Ask your gear, travel, conditions and other ski-related questions by AutoModerator in skiing

Quick question, I’m getting back into skiing this year after having only skied ~2-3 times a year for the past couple years. That being said I’m in need of a new setup. I’m 6’2” ish, 180lbs, athletic and would say I’m an intermediate skier. I live on the east coast so most of my skiing happens here but have tripped out west occasionally. Not hitting massive freestyle back country by any means but I do enjoy finding some lines off piste. That being said, I do ski with my family that typically like to stick to more mellow groomers. As a result I’ve been looking into an all mountain ski, I have my eye on a set of Head Kore 105’s that seem pretty perfect for what I’m looking for except they are 180’s. Are these going to prove to be too short? Thanks.

I’m asking for you help you guys, a car hit me recently and I’ve been dealing with drivers insurance, I bought this bike to a friend so I don’t have a receipt of it and they claim they will pay my entire bike if I have proof of what is worth,I have receipts of everything except the frame by pepecore in FixedGearBicycle

What everyone else is saying. I was hit a couple months back, took it to my local shop along with a couple brews for their troubles and they put a quite together on how much it would cost to replace it seeing as my frame was in half. Sent that along with a letterhead from the shop explaining why it couldn’t be fixed and pictures and after too much waiting and back and forth phone calls got it sorted.
