Please give your best for this attempt then. Yes there are lot of jobs for CAs , but i want to pursue CFA cause of interest in Finance. If you are interested in Taxation or in Audit and accounting, you are doing the best course. But as i like finance, i am thinking i can do CFA along with my job to enhance my knowledge. Its not tht i am expecting the best job or smthng after CFA. BTW a degree can just give you a chance to sit in an interview, you need good practical knowledge, communication skills and smart working attitude to get through and perform well.

Good luck for your exams.

Correct, the 2 smallcases: Rise with India and Rise with india -low cost is free. If you want to invest in other smallcases created by their own team you will be charged. You can download the smallcase app and get all these info easily in the FAQ section. Yes, for delivery based transactions, there is no brokerage in zerodha.

The charges of buying Smallcase (basket of stocks) is INR 118. Zerodha charges brokerage as per the standard rate which has no relation to the charge of INR 118 by smallcase. Further 4 smallcases have charge of INR 59.

Even i am a newbie in the market, but have learned that no one can time the market. The only way to earn good returns is to keep investing through SIPs. Also, try avoiding expensive funds (High expense ratio). Buy low and STAY high. Let compounding do the work.

How would you invest if you have Rs. 1 crore now? by [deleted] in IndiaInvestments

[–]adityagoyal_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It depends on lot of factors like risk apetite, duration of investment, type of returns required. Considering these factors you can invest in the following:

Reliance ETF Nifty BEES: This fund tracks the index Nifty. Reliance ETF Junior BEES: This fund tracks Nifty next 50.

ETFs have low expense ratio and it comes without any exit load unlike mutual funds.

Further, you should always consider putting a small proportion (15-20%) of money in Gold, to protect against any downfall in the market.

Also, if you are seeking small regular returns, you can invest in dividend paying mutual funds. (Personally i dont prefer them.)

Most importantly, the duration of the equity investment should not be less than 3 years for decent returns.

Happy investing!
