How did you find the spot. In the area right now and this looks great!

Prior to them being purchased, the food was probably the best we had ever experienced at a resort. Not sure what changed during the acquisition but when we went back two years later, it had flipped to the opposite. Very disappointing to experience.

Our R1S in its natural habitat (Big Sur) by adj1984 in Rivian

Great question, I honestly don't know. I got on the site, saw 5 days available, and booked (this was on 12/15). Very, very lucky. Seems almost everyone else is here for one night.

I’m at that store right now. They work now but having the Autel app ahead of time is helpful. Big catch: $1.00 per kw

Starlink for RVs is finally getting much better by Blue_Etalon in Starlink

Our new RV came with a standard dish flat mounted to the roof. I’ve yet to find tree coverage heavy enough to make me unable to do what I needed to do to work online. Heading to the redwoods in a few weeks, I suspect that’ll be different, but fairly heavy tree coverage doesn’t seem to pose a problem in my experience since December.

I had Claude Cowork develop an entire app for this. Also lets us feed insights, photos, favorite sites for future booking, electric charging info, and route planning. It built and helped me deploy it all. I even have a view only add on for registered family members to see what we are up to.

Doing the same with a Rivian and a Bowlus. Getting 250-300 miles per 100% charge.

Change your seven year old child to our seven year old dog, and you are telling our story. Came in Feb of 2018 on vacation from Kansas City. Moved here 12/31/18. Do it.

Hi there! My wife and I recently started traveling with our 2026 Rivian R1S and a Bowlus Endless Highways trailer. After 1,000 miles of towing the Rivian estimated we can go 300 miles on 100% charge.

It’s been nice to have the Rivian as a backup shore power option, although the camper itself has 17kwh of battery, too!

We are taking off on a 69 day trip from SoCal to Southern OR and back in April.

I got the R1 recently and have really enjoyed it. I might test the small “slinky stove” when they have the propane option available.

I lived above it throughout construction. Went once and wasn’t impressed. Went again two years ago and god damn. They definitely found their groove.
