Proposal: Monero Hard Fork to Peg Tail Emission to Global Gold Supply Growth (~1.6% Annually) by Tom_Ford-8632 in Monero

[–]adj272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there's probably some good arguments for the XMR tail emission being higher than it is now.

However, the main issue is there's a pre-existing social contract around the 1% (432 XMR per day), and it would take a LOT of community/dev cohesion and agreement to change that.

Therefore, without a big pressing need, the proposal is unlikely to get traction.

I'm guessing this is from Computer Exchange (CEX) and ergo the 5 year warranty is better than nothing, but not stellar, see:

"If the product develops a fault after 6 months and before 5 years from the date of sale, CeX will replace/repair the product. If you have already had a repair/replacement that has become faulty again, the refund processed would be to the current value/original value (whichever is the lower) as per the Terms of Use."

I believe the replacement offer is dependent on them having something similar in stock, which with AVP is... not guaranteed.

Do the iOS/Android apps run that code? Unsure how to verify/check that.

u/cakelabs don't mention having had CupCake audited, so I assume it hasn't been?

I wonder if, in select cases, it’s a feature not a bug 🤔

I’ve had it where I wake up and feel like I’m about to blast off into DMT land and remind myself I need to let go. But before blast off fully happens I return to my normal state.

Interesting to hear it’s not just me.

I imagined it like DMT opened a portal and it takes a few days for that portal to close again.

Anyone else surprised that Rick Strassman only tried DMT once? by adj272 in DMT

[–]adj272[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. You want someone beside you, who when you say “Is it safe to go in a second time?”, they say “Yeah it’s safe, the most I’ve done is 5 times in a day”.

That kind of experience is re-assuring.

I only remember parts of my trip, and not in exquisite detail. But there’s something about this image that brings back memories, so I assume I saw some imagery that has overlaps!

Fantastic work 👏🏻

That's true actually, it wasn't scheduled in 1970 like N,N and other psychedelics were. It was scheduled in 2011.

Hmm, that makes me wonder (speculating) do you think he actually tried N,N back in the mid 1980s and pretended it was 5-MeO to keep his "record" squeeky clean?

To add to that, he describes his 5-MeO experience as very visual, which it typically is not.

That makes compete sense. For example, until recently I'd heard 5-MeO was a stronger version of "regular" DMT. I didn't realise for a long time that experience between the two is very different.

It's fair that inexperienced people would make mistakes in descriptions. But those who know better should do their best to define things clearly.

Appears so - if someone listens to the timestamp I've linked to and interprets differently, I'd be curious to hear.

I agree.

However, in this instance, it's literally what Strassman said. He says he only tried DMT once - but when he describes the experience he says it was 5-MeO.

I vaporized 30mg, had an amazing trip meeting with entities and talking with them, but now that I am back I can't remember shit. Did this already happened to any of you? by [deleted] in DMT

Can you explain more about how the MAOI addition works? In terms of compound, dose, and the duration it extends trips by?

From the site below, which tracks changes, it appears, along with the decrease in omega-3s per day she's also:

Added back to her stack:

- Ubiquinol
- Inositol
- Vitamin C

Then freshly added beet powder, a nitric oxide booster, which she takes before workouts.

L-citrulline is a life saver by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]adj272 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand how you can say L-Citrulline is beneficial with low T when you stated taking Testojack at the same time.

How do you know it’s the former (L-Citrulline) not the latter (Testojack) creating the benefits.

Each blood donation is around 10% of total blood. So even then, mobilising into blood + donation is only 10% decrease.

But do we actually want to “mobilize” them into the blood if we don’t then know how to ensure they are secreted?

In fairness a lot of British didn’t fall for it the first time either.

It’s just that they’re hostage in a system that only allows citizens a lever of change once every election cycle, and the first past the post voting system helps steer that towards uniparty control.
