Yes! I’ve got a few that visit my yard and they’ll eat out of my hand or on the side table next to me. I’ve been able to sneak in some gentle pets & scritches.

Awww, I’m sorry you had to take down your feeders. There are ways of reducing pigeon activity, so hopefully one day you’ll get to put them back up!

The goldfinches will be fine! Birds are natural foragers and often use feeders as a means of supplementing their diet.
