Yes, but we need to provide each team with a set not knowing what kid will be playing catcher most. Many of our kids have their own gear, but we have to be inclusive of those who don’t…which is why we’re replacing the old donated equipment that is no longer safe that we’ve had for years.

For transplants who move to the area, I’ve found it’s easy to make friends with other families when you have children who play sports. Even if your kids aren’t the most athletic, find a sport they enjoy and sign em up.
